Guangxiang Leon Liu (PhD, The Chinese University of Hong Kong) is research-track professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Southeast University, China. His research focuses on AI-mediated informal language learning, digital literacies, and linguistic landscape. He has published extensively in leading international journals, including Computers in Human Behavior, ReCALL, System, and TESOL Quarterly. He serves on the editorial board of leading international journals like Innovation in Language Learning and Teaching (Taylor & Francis) and International Journal of TESOL Studies. He has guest-edited several special issues in SSCI Q1 journals such as Journal of Computer Assisted Learning (Wiley) and TESOL Quarterly (Wiley). He is a recipient of the 2024 AILA (International Association of Applied Linguistics) Solidarity Award.
