Academic Achievements: Author of over 190 publications, including 11 monographs and 176 papers, best known for Forensic Linguistic Identification Theory and A Method of Parametric Modeling in Forensic Linguistics.

This lecture examines the contemporary evolution of forensic linguistic identification theory and its integration into higher education. It systematically outlines the applications and methodologies of forensic linguistics in judicial practice. Key topics include language-mediated crimes—such as extremist speech, disinformation, defamation, verbal insults, and threats—analyzed through real case studies to demonstrate the central role of linguistic experts in legal risk assessment and textual diagnosis. The lecture will also address complex linguistic phenomena, including multimodal texts and discourse disguise, highlighting the practical relevance of linguistic expert examination in modern governance and rule of law.
